Join our team: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders The role involves: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges Rotating shifts.
