Brickwork mason wanted in New Kent County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in New Kent County, Virginia. You will work at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
