Crane rigger wanted in West Northamptonshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in West Northamptonshire, England. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
