Ladle pourer — Lowndes County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Lowndes County, Georgia. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
