Lift mechanic • Ontonagon County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Ontonagon County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
