Bakery assistant wanted in Wood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Wood County, Texas. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen You will score the top of loaves before baking; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
