Now hiring: we are hiring a house painter in Clinton County, Illinois. You will work in a paint and spray workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover You should have: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Own brushes and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off.
