Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in Gilmer County, West Virginia. You will work at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing Day-to-day duties: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
