Heavy goods vehicle driver • Effingham County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Effingham County, Illinois. You will be based at a haulage company. Day to day you will complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
