Earthmoving plant operator — Ikere

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Ikere, Ekiti State. You will be based at a road-building project. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Day to day you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
