Elevator technician • Lyman County, South Dakota

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lyman County, South Dakota. You will work in a residential tower block. The role involves adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 1+ years on the tools preferred.
