Gas service engineer — Baker County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Baker County, Florida. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
