Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking The role involves plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
