Join our team: turning centre operator (Maryland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. You will work in a job-work machining unit. You will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
