Production line inspector wanted in Plymouth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line inspector in Plymouth County, Iowa. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
