Great opportunity: aluminium tig welder (Idaho)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Canyon County, Idaho. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
