Vacancy available: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Ashland County, Wisconsin. You will work at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Punctual with reliable attendance • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage On the job you will handle: • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards Six days a week, one day off.
