Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Franklin County, Kansas. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
