Production welder — Mono County

Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Mono County, California. You will work at a busy production line. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
