Bakery assistant • Blount County, Alabama

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Blount County, Alabama. You will work in a bread factory. The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • 2+ years' experience as a baker 6+ years on the tools preferred.
