Argon welder wanted in Alexander County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Alexander County, Illinois. The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
