Gantry crane operator • Saguache County, Colorado

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Saguache County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
