Offshore rigger • White County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in White County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals Part-time with flexible hours.
