Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Wyandotte County, Kansas. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
