Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Rotating shifts.
