Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
