Kitchen cook wanted in Richmond County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Richmond County, New York. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
