Injection moulding machine operator • Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
