Wet plasterer wanted in Tehama County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Tehama County, California. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Your main tasks: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
