Join our team: argon arc welder (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Marshall County, Tennessee. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
