Press shop operator wanted in Northampton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
