Requirements: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Day to day you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains.
