Finishing presser — Van Buren County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Van Buren County, Iowa. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
