Day to day you will service and replace timing belts and chains; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; carry out oil and filter changes; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters. Requirements: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Own set of hand tools • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
