Elevator service technician — Clay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Clay County, Indiana. You will work at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time, day shift.
