Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Coles County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Coles County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Overtime paid at a premium rate.
