We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Briscoe County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred.
