Spray painter (automotive) wanted in Rockbridge County

Now hiring: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You will be based in a spray booth. On a typical shift you will set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
