Vacancy available: toolroom milling operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Benton County, Tennessee. The role involves measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
