Precision welder • Atlantic County, New Jersey

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Atlantic County, New Jersey. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
