Reinforcement steel fixer — Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Washington County, Vermont. The job is on a busy residential building site. The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
