We are recruiting: we are hiring a forklift operator in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a freight and logistics depot. The role involves stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles; transport raw materials and finished goods between bays. Requirements: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
