Argon welder wanted in Logan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Logan County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
