Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Roane County, Tennessee. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
