Immediate opening: concrete finisher (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Chaves County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 3+ years on the tools preferred.
