Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Washington County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment On the job you will handle: • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
