Precision welder • Gudu, Sokoto State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Gudu, Sokoto State. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Full-time with occasional weekends.
