Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Alpine County, California. The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
