Heavy equipment operator — Borough of Swindon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Borough of Swindon, England. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Day-to-day duties: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
