Gas metal arc welder — Kern County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Kern County, California. The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
